Disclaimer
[EVOS] stresses that class familiarity is helpful when learning Reflect/Block. However, you are not required to have anything beyond access to these classes when learning to Reflect/Block. The rest can, and will, be taught upon joining.General Reflect/Block Info

Why Reflect/Block?
- Without Reflect or Block, any run of Triple Trouble would turn into what is commonly referred to as a "hellwurm."
- Basically, the event wouldn't be able to be run efficiently, and the event would be nearly impossible to pull off.
-
Why stand in the wurm?
- For all classes with the notable exception of Revenant, the skills needed to reflect and block have a short-range or happen where you stand.
-
As a result, it's easiest and the most practical to do it from within the wurm. It's important to have defense skills, so you don't down or lose position with dodges*.
*You don't lose location if you dodge as a mirage. This is a general note about most other classes.

Reflects vs. Blocking
- Reflecting uses reflect and absorption skills to "eat"/reflect eggs back at the big wurm.
-
Blocking uses
Invulnerability Immune to conditions and damage skills to block husks from spawning and drool from hitting the zerg.
-
Note that damage prevention and Invulnerability are different as it relates to TT.
If a skill's description includes "Prevents Capture-Point Contribution", it will block husks at TT.
